Operational Ease
Our engineers adapt the lift-up type front panel with gas damper resulted in simplified direct accessibility to the daily servicing function such as window washer reservoir, air filter, electric engine oil checker.

Electro-hydraulic power tilting
Redesigned the front cab mounting part. The cab tilt angle is now wider, from the normal 45 degree to 50 degree now. On the other hand, the tilt control is integrated with electro-hydraulic power tilting system for easy operation.

The large size door are designed to offer enlarged door space while the full outer swing type door now opens to a full 90 degree to facilitate entry and exit.

Power window and central door lock together with overhead console box as standard features and accessories.

Air Suspension deluxe driver's seat that provides maximum comfort while driving over long haulage.
Cab coil suspension is installed to enhance during comfort for drivers and co-driver. The cab is mounted on the spring to minimize the uncomfortable vibration and shock.

Noise Reduction
Noise reduction is one of the methods to increase the driving comfort. Our engineers put up noise reducing materials on the cab, which effectively lower the level of interior noise.
The FP517 offers a cab interior based on ergonomic design concepts. The spacious interior is incredibly comfortable.

An impact bar is added to both side doors in order to improve the driver & co-driver safety within the cabin.

The steering wheel is designed that in the event of frontal
collision, the steering wheel will absorb some of the shock upon impact with the driver.

Wedge Type Brake provides the simple yet efficient braking system compared to S-cam type brake. Wedge type brake has more efficient braking reaction, lighter weight and automatic wear adjusting function.

The enlarged windscreen and discontinuation of the door window pillars increase forward visibility.

The built in window washer nozzles and increased window washer reservoir capacity offer markedly upgraded forward visibility.

Fuel Economy
New dynamic squared cab styling. When fitted an
aerodynamic airfoil deflector, the air resistance is lower. Cd is only 0.53. This feature further enhances fuel economy.

Durability and Reliability
The cabin undergoes an electro-dripping process so that a uniform zinc sulphate coating is being applied to the cab in order to enhance rust prevention and improves durability and reliability.

Adopts resin parts around the tire housing to further improve rust prevention, this in turn decreases weight and upgrades durability and reliability.

High rigid single unit aluminum case transmission is adopted on the FP517 model. This 10-speed transmission incorporates an upgraded aluminum transmission case which reduces the weight of the transmission.

The MITSUBISHI FUSO 6D24 6 cylinder in-line diesel engine has a displacement of 11,945cc. It is turbocharged with intercooler that develops a maximum power output of 350ps at 2,200rpm. The maximum torque is 145kg-m at 1,400rpm. The governor is incorporated with electronic control, thereby enabling the compliance of Euro II emission standard.
